Revelop partnered with Myrspoven to optimize energy performance at the Nattvakterna office buildings in Stockholm. The result was a 40% reduction in energy consumption and an improvement in EPC rating from D to B.

From EPC D to B with a 40% Reduction in Energy Consumption
Swedish real estate company Revelop is demonstrating how existing buildings can be transformed into more sustainable, energy-efficient assets. In partnership with Myrspoven, Revelop implemented AI-driven energy optimization at the Nattvakterna office buildings in Stockholm, achieving a 40% reduction in energy consumption and improving the properties’ EPC rating from D to B.
The project highlights how AI can support real estate owners in reducing energy use, lowering emissions, and improving the long-term performance of existing buildings.

Transforming Existing Buildings
Revelop is a Swedish real estate company focused on transforming under-managed "brown" assets into attractive, sustainable "green" locations. Rather than demolishing and rebuilding, Revelop upgrades and refurbishes existing buildings, extending their lifespan while reducing environmental impact.
The company’s portfolio includes strategic acquisitions across major Swedish regions, including Stockholm and Gothenburg, all aligned with its long-term vision of revitalizing real estate for a more sustainable future.
The Revelop and Myrspoven Collaboration
As part of its transformation strategy, Revelop works with technology partners such as Myrspoven to improve energy performance across its properties.
One standout example is Nattvakterna, a group of office buildings in Stockholm where Myrspoven’s AI-powered energy optimization system played a key role in improving the properties’ EPC rating from D to B.
An EPC rating measures a building’s energy efficiency on a scale from A to G, with A being the most efficient. By improving Nattvakterna’s rating, Revelop reduced the buildings’ environmental impact while also achieving significant energy savings.
Like many older office buildings, Nattvakterna faced challenges with high energy consumption and operational inefficiency. Revelop addressed this through a structured business plan focused on energy-saving measures.
“When we acquire a property, we conduct a full technical due diligence with our internal team. From there, we set up a business plan that includes all potential energy-saving measures, whether it’s new insulation, modernized HVAC systems, or AI-driven energy management,” says Anna Brännström, Head of Sustainable Transformation at Revelop.
Implementing AI to Improve Energy Performance
The business plan was put into action during the refurbishment of the Nattvakterna office buildings, which together cover more than 16,000 square meters.
After key infrastructure upgrades, including a new plant room and ventilation with integrated cooling, Myrspoven’s AI platform, myCoreAI, was integrated to optimize energy use.
myCoreAI analyzes data from the building together with external data sources, such as weather forecasts and occupancy patterns. Based on each building’s unique conditions, the system creates a tailored optimization strategy that continuously improves energy performance while maintaining a comfortable indoor climate.
The results were significant: energy consumption was reduced by up to 40% across Nattvakten 6, 7, and 10.
